2019 Open Championship Results

Congratulations to the 2019 Riverina Champion, Chris Mildren from Albury Commercial.

A great few days was hosted by The Howlong Golf Resort, attracting a field of 158 for Monday and Tuesday, with 130 players on Wednesday.

Howling winds on Monday challenged the players with some unusually high scores being recorded. Tuesday and Wednesday saw a great improvement in the scores and the weather. 

Congratulations to Howlong Ladies Captain Helen Foster and her committee, along with the staff, who were excellent hosts for the event.

The course was in first class condition but I must say the ball struggled to find the cup a bit too often for my liking.
