Bernie McLean 2021 Sandgree...

Congratulations to Bernie McLean from Corowa Golf Club. Bernie held her nerve to defeat Chris Spokes from Holbrook in an exciting two hole play off for the 2021 Sangreen Champion Trophy.

Finishing the day with 82 off the stick, Bernie took home the RWGA Perpetual Trophy and Chris took home the Ailsa Rossiter Memorial Perpetual Trophy for the best 18 hole nett score with an amazing 67. 

Carol McGrath and her team from The Rock Golf Club provided high quality country hospitality for the 58 players on the day.  After a crisp start, the day warmed up, the wind dropped off and the cup of hot soup at the turn around completed an enjoyable day. It was unfortunate that the lockdown in Victoria prevented seven entrants from participating.  Well done ladies!
